As I sit in heaven,
I try to let you know with signs, I never went away. I hear you when you are laughing, And watch you as you sleep. I even place my arms around you, To calm you as you weep. I see you wish the days away, Begging to have me home. I try to send you signs, So you know you are not alone. Don't feel guilty that you have Life that was denied to me. Heaven is truly beautiful, Just you wait and see. So live your life, laugh again, Enjoy yourself, be free. Then I know with every breath you take, You will be taking one for me. |

Life is a game – play it. Life is a challenge – meet it. Life is a dream – realise it. Life is a sacrifice – offer it. Life is love – enjoy it. |

It helps now and then to step back
and take the long view. The kingdom is not only beyond our efforts; it is even beyond our vision. We accomplish in our lifetime only a tiny fraction of the magnificent enterprise that is God's work Nothing we do is complete, which is another way of saying that the kingdom always lies beyond us. No statement says all that could be said. No prayer fully expresses our faith. No confession brings wholeness. No programme accomplishes the church's mission. No set of goals and objectives includes everything. This is what we are about. We plant the seeds that one day will grow. We water seeds already planted, knowing that they hold future promise. We lay foundations that will need further development. We provide yeast that produces effects far beyond our capabilities. We cannot do everything, and there is a sense of liberation in realising that. This enables us to do something, and to do it very well. It may be incomplete, but it is a beginning, a step along the way, an opportunity for the Lord's grace to enter and do the rest. We may never see the end results but that is the difference between the master builder and the worker. We are workers, not master builders, ministers, not messiahs. We are prophets of a future not our own. Amen. |
O, God our Father,
bless and help me in the illness which has come upon me. Give me courage and patience, endurance and cheerfulness to bear all weakness and pain; and give me a mind at rest, which will make my recovery all the quicker. Lord Jesus, come to me this day and at this time, and show me your healing touch. Amen. prayer for trust in jesus
O Christ Jesus,
when all is darkness and we feel our weakness and helplessness, give us the sense of Your presence, Your love, and Your strength. Help us to have perfect trust in Your protecting love and strengthening power, so that nothing may frighten or worry us, for, living close to You, we shall see Your hand, Your purpose, Your will through all things. Amen |
You are very special
In all the world there is nobody like you. Since the beginning of time, there has never been another person like you. Nobody has your smile, your eyes, your hands, your hair. Nobody owns your voice, your handwriting, your unique way of communicating with others.
You’re Special.
Nobody can paint like you. Nobody has your taste for food, music, dance or art. Nobody in the world sees things as you do. In all time, there has never been anyone who laughs in exactly your way, and what makes you laugh or cry or think may have a totally different response in another.
So — You’re Special.
You’re different from any other person who has ever lived in the history of the world. You are the only one in the whole world who has your particular set of abilities. There is always someone who is better at one thing or another. Every person is your superior in at least one way. But nobody in this world can reach the quality of the combination of your talents, your feelings. Through all eternity, no one will ever love, walk, talk, think or act exactly like you.
Remember — You’re Special.
You’re rare, and in all rarity there is enormous value. You’re Special, and it is no accident you are. Please realize that God made you for a special purpose. God has a job for you to do that nobody else can do as well as you can. Out of the billions of applicants, only one is qualified. Only one has the unique and right combination of what it takes—and that one is you.

We make the world in which we live
by what we gather and what we give, by our daily deeds and the things we say, by what we keep or we cast away We make our world by the beauty we see in a skylark’s song or a lilac tree, in a butterfly’s wing, in the pale moon’s rise, and the wonder that lingers in midnight skies. We make our world by the life we lead, by the friends we have, by the books we read, by the pity we show in the hour of care, by the loads we lift and the love we share. We make our world by the goals we pursue, by the heights we seek and the higher view, by hopes and dreams that reach the sun and a will to fight till the heights are won. Believe that those you love, love you.
Forget what you have done for your friends and remember what they have done for you.
Disregard what the world owes you and concentrate on what you owe the world.

Maybe …. We are supposed to meet the wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.
Maybe …. It is true that we don’t know what we have got until we lose it, but it is also true that we don’t know what we have been missing until it arrives.
Maybe …. The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes their way.
Maybe …. The best kind of love is the kind where you can sit on a sofa together never saying a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you’ve ever had.
Maybe …. You shouldn’t go for looks, they can deceive. Don’t go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.
Maybe …. You should hope for enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, and enough hope to make you happy.
